I think somebody in the UNretirees circle should try the Red Hook ball fields before the city government makes things really difficult for them. There are still some issues with their permits. I guess the city can’t grant them permits unless they follow certain rules esp. regarding sanitation. Marita and I have been dying to go but our schedules haven’t been cooperative. After all, it is billed as one of the best places to get “comida tipica” of Latin America. Mura pa. The guys who worked on our family room were from Guatemala. There’s a Guatemalan vendor who’s shown in this clip (I’ve never had Guatemalan food):
