Great Book – “Heart In Two Places”

One of my new friends, Gemma Nemenzo, ( a cousin of Gilda) wrote a great book entitled “Heart In Two Places”. It’s a story we are all familiar with – immigrating to the USA from the Philippines and trying to build a new life in a new land. 

I’ve never really related very well to most of the immigrant stories (Filipino or otherwise) but Gemma’s book is the exception.  Siguro kasi tumatanda na ako   It’s a very well written collection of essays and musings and a very enjoyable read.  Read the essay “Should I Stay Or Should I Go”.  If only for that piece, I will send the book to my sister in Holland, who made the decision to become a Dutch citizen.
