So we plead guilty once more to going to the same restaurant – for the third time. Marita had been craving for arepas
so we gave in – very easily I should add - and hit Caracas Arepas on 7th Street and 2nd. At least, we did not have the same things.
I loved our appetizers. We had tequeños, which are vienna sausage shaped fried white cheese links. Wonderful. We also had arroz con caraotas, which is basically the Venezuelan version of rice and beans. I tried a new beer from Nicaragua called Cerveza Toña which was very light, definitely not in the same league as the Belgian beers we had previously, but went well with our arepas.
